TANDY CRONYN made her professional debut in Montreal, trained and performed in England, and appeared on Broadway as Sally Bowles in the original production of CABARET. She has performed major classical and modern roles in repertory theatres across the country, most recently, at Barrington Stage Company where she has played in Oscar Wilde's THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and Jean Ahouilh's RING ROUND THE MOON, and most frequently at PlayMakers Repertory Company at the University of North Carolina where she was an Associate Artist from 2000 through 2005. She has played Emily Dickinson in the one-woman play THE BELLE OF AMHERST at Missouri Rep, Beatrice in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING at the Stratford Festival of Canada, WIT at both PlayMakers and Tennesse Rep and many classical roles with theatres such as Hartford Stage, Yale Rep, The Old Globe in San Diego and the Denver Center Theatre Company. Television audiences have seen Ms. Cronyn in the TV movies THE GUARDIAN, AGE-OLD FRIENDS, THE STORY LADY, and GETTING OUT, also on LAW & ORDER, THE GUIDING LIGHT and THE BOOK OF DANIEL.
