For 32 years, Anne Utter wrote and produced the Chorus of Westerly’s “A Celebration of Twelfth Night.”  Her exuberance for life and reverence for the beauty of language, poetry, music, ritual, and myth was encapsulated within each script, each child, and each artist she encountered.  Anne was a founding member of the Chorus in 1959, serving as the Chorus President not once, but twice.  With a group of friends, Anne was instrumental in the planning of  the Chorus’ trips to England and Italy.  Among Anne’s numerous achievements were winning the Antoinette F. Downing Volunteer Service Award from the RI Historical Preservation and the RI State of the Arts Award.
